I am a photographer and filmmaker who specializes in automotive and product imagery. My bachelor’s in Film Production was awarded by Portland State University. Since graduating, I have worked on projects for NIKE and Portland State University with Quarter4 Media. I operated cameras for a feature film shot in the class 5 rapids of the Snake River. With HouseSpecial, I assisted in the production of several advertisements for PSE and Planters Peanuts. I am now the staff photographer for World of Speed Motorsports Museum and Moonstruck Chocolate Company.
Never have I seen this face of the mountain during a sunset. I watched the moon rise up from behind McNeil point. It looked like a balloon swelling up from the hut that resides on the bluff. What an incredible view it was. I hope to take as many of my friends there as I can. Yesterday was @alexandraellepatterson's turn. I really hope you enjoyed the hike, the view and walking back through the dark and foggy forest.
I met up with my friend David Greco this evening. We were taking photos of him for various projects. His concept sounded easy, but in practice it was a challenge. I had to fight the urge to properly focus the images or to move the camera so that the framing was more “normal”. I was glad to be pushed out of my comfort zone. I can’t wait to share these projects with you. David’s been working on it for a long time and I’ve just been lucky enough to be a part of it all at the end.
I have loved driving my new MINI through the snow and ice winter. The ALL4 drive system has gotten me through everything the skies can throw at Portland. I took a day off from work and drove up to Timberline Lodge with my coworker to bond and enjoy the warm fire in the historic building.
